I am so sick of women saying "I can't cook," or "I don't cook." I really think some women think that sounds cute or something. Now I'm not saying that I'm Martha Stewart and want to spend hours in the kitchen, but I get great joy out of feeding my family. There is something about the way a man looks at you like you're the best thing since sliced bread when you feed him a good meal. There's something about the way that your children compares other peoples food to yours and well the other people's food just doesn't compete. Cooking is about so much more than cooking. It's about love! I love myself and I love my family so I want the best ingredients in our food. So to the women who think it's cute to not cook especially if you have children, not only are you doing them a disservice health wise, you're missing out on bonding sessions that will forever be etched in your child's memory. Some of my fondest memories are watching my mom cook and I am more than happy to continue that legacy with my seed!
